Review A Promise Remembered

He’s finally back but time doesn’t heal all wounds William Kauffman is back in his Michigan hometown but not for long When he runs into. Mowers debut brims with vivid and broken characters who have had a rough go with life and with each other Despite or maybe because of their brokenness William and Annie have deep capacity for love and for healing though that s not easily apparent at first glance The author skillfully draws out their raw emotions even as Annie s adorable children and William s stubbornly determined mother add an even broader range of emotional layers The antagonist is a bit over the top at times and his comeuppance is somewhat anticlimactic but overall this is a satisfying second chance romanceI voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
