5 Great Reasons to Attend Latitude 2012

1 Close Encounters
Located just a 90-minute car rideaway, in the Sunrise Coast of Southwold, Latitude is one of the closest festivals to Colchester. The family-friendly weekend won’t involve sitting in hot car for hours on end. Just hop out and enjoy!

2 Music To Our Ears
Yes, it is more than just a music festival, but with acts like Paul Weller, Elbow and Lana Del Ray on the line-up, the music really is all around us. Catch established rock
stars as well as fledgling icons such as Alabama Shakes and St Vincent.

"Who doesn’t love the adorably pastel lambs that gently graze around the festival site?"
3 Pink Sheep!
Who doesn’t love the adorably pastel lambs that gently graze around the festival site? In fact the whole of the ‘Latitude-scape’ is a whimsical, fairytale of arty and crafty deligths for kids and adults alike.

4 Fun for All the Family
The Kid’s Area at Latitude is so vast, it’s a magical festival of its very own. Activites include theatre workshops, crafty workshops, science experiments, free pizzamaking, a twilight-walk to look for wildlife, and much, much more.

5 Life is A Cabaret
Before you live it up to the late-night DJ sets, be sure to laugh yourself silly in the Comedy Arena, soak in some poetry from the likes of Benjamin Zephaniah, meet authors such as Iain Banks, catch some outdoor theatre and admire contemporary art. Phew!

Latitude Festival is taking place Thursday 12th - Sunday 15th July. For more info, and for weekend or day tickets visit www.latitudefestival.co.uk
